To answer Sand and Sunshine's question, I used regular acrylic craft paint, and we'll see how well it holds up. I sprayed it liberally with clear Krylon indoor/outdoor finish to help seal it.

One Accomplishment
I finished the repainting of my flag. It was really pretty easy.
To answer Sand and Sunshine's question, I used regular acrylic craft paint, and we'll see how well it holds up. I sprayed it liberally with clear Krylon indoor/outdoor finish to help seal it.
I only painted one side, but anyone driving up to the house will see the good side. And this is the side I can watch waving in the wind, while I sit and rock LMW or do handwork in my living room. I'm so glad to have this done, and start my fall decorating.

WOW! It turned out great!
ReplyDeleteI can't paint but have toyed with the idea of sewing flags. The unknown scares me though. Like what is it like sewing with that slick stuff?
